Apparently, Costco made their own Golf balls with a local/store name instead of a brand name. They sold them cheaper than any other national golf ball and at a good quality as well. Then they get hit with a lawsuit threat claiming they violated 11 patents.
This is why we can’t have cheap and nice things. Apple and Microsoft have done this to their competitors as well, sue them until expenses exceed their income. So they quit or settle out of court.
It didn’t used to be that way, it used to be small companies would find a better way to make things a better quality and cheaper, but competed with larger companies who made them for more money because they had a larger overhead. Yet now it is anything goes for the big companies to keep suing their competitors out of market.
