Websites can delete articles and change them and nobody is ever the wiser. The Archive aka Wayback Machine can save websites and pages. You never know when a site like Kuro5hin is going to go down for the count for the last time.
While I argue over the BBS documentary with the leader of archive.org I still support archive.org to save old classic computer disk images and files. I agree with the library status that should give them the right to archive everything.
If so see something important, save it as quick as you can. You never know when it is important and might be censored or deleted.
