Windows 7 is still getting updates but is not as much a priority as Windows 10. So Windows 7 security updates may not keep out hackers and other security risks.

Pushing end users to Windows 10 by doing a crappy job on Windows 7 and 8.1, just shows how desperate for Microsoft to force most users into the latest and greatest version of Windows.

I’d rather use Linux instead, it is faster than Windows and the update/upgrade process is a lot faster and does not lock up the entire OS to do it. Just have to enter your password to verify you want to do updates in Linux. But Aunt Peggy doesn’t understand what Linux is and wants Windows instead.
