The Apple bubble just burst. Sales of iPhones have slowed down, and Apple is not making much of a profit anymore. Not everyone can afford to upgrade to a new iPhone each year and usually, pay $700 for an iPhone and then get on a plan that pays off the iPhone in 2 or 3 years at $25-$30 a month. This is now the mobile era, and Apple killed Blackberry by doing the same thing they did but better with an App Store and more apps that have been checked better. Blackberry phones may be more secure than iOS phones, but they just don’t have the Apps an iPhone has. Schools are requiring students have iPads as well.
In order to keep returning shareholder value to their investors, Apple had to keep coming up with new products. The Apple Car was a longshot, but may or may not happen. The Apple Watch is still the first generation and the second generation has come out. But people just don’t understand why they need a watch when they got an iPhone.
Will Apple recover and earn more money, or has Google and Amazon Android device cut into their sales to the point that they are not profitable anymore?
